Description This is a front line customer service position that requires a degree of comfort and facility with various mobile devices. Located on the main deck of the battleship, the person in this position handles all touchless ticketing sales. It involves redeeming online pre-purchased tickets, and also talking folks through the process on their mobile devices if they have not bought their tickets yet. It requires patience, grace, and a great sense of humor. It's good fun! The guests are excited to be at the ship and generally come with a positive attitude. There is limited cash handling with this position, and a background check is required, as with all new volunteers. Members of our Tour Department greet our guests at the Quarter Deck and direct them to Ticketing. This is a fun position, but only for the right prospect. You have to be comfortable with the tech.
