As a provider of referral services for older adults in McLean County, Faith In Action is one of the first organizations we think of to meet the needs for transportation, friendly visitors, and light maintenance work for clients living in the community. This is a great place for volunteers with a service heart to assist those who have limited independence and are so grateful not just for the help, but the human contact to reduce their isolation. They have volunteers from all walks of life giving freely of their time and resources to help others and if I could clone this organization for every county our agency serves, I would! Thank you for all you do for us, FIA!

Faith in Action offers flexible volunteer opportunities for those who want to serve adults 60 years of age and older. Their efforts help older adults remain independent by offering rides to medical appointments and shopping at no charge to the individual. This volunteer opportunity makes a difference in peoples lives!
