The Children's Center Utah

The Children's Center is such an amazing facility. They provide a safer, more one on one experience for the kids that attend their school. I have loved volunteering because I love working with little kids. It is such a great way to relax when I am stressed because without even knowing it, the kids show me a different way of looking at life. It is nice to get a brake from our judgmental world. I spent six hours a week during the summer when I am in town with the three and four year olds and to them it doesn't matter if a classmate is big or small, hispanic or white, or even if they don't speak english, it is just another person to play with and have fun. It has given me a fresher perspective on life. The kids appreciate all of the attention that I can give them. They want someone to let them sit on their lap, to play with, and to listen to them. They are amazing, smart and talented kids, but all in their own special way.
