Veterans’ Coffeehouse Volunteer Greet veterans and their companions, help set up breakfast, and coffee at one of our seven Veterans’ Coffeehouse locations. The Coffeehouse’s mission is " to provide a comfortable location for ALL veterans-both men and women of any age-to meet, socialize, communicate and receive supported information regarding veterans benefits and services through state and federal agencies and programs.

Meals-On-Wheels Delivery Driver in Brooklyn, CT Deliver meals to homebound seniors. We are currently in search of drivers for the New London & Planfield areas. Volunteers can pick one (or more) days of the week to deliver or choose to fill-in for other drivers when they are away. Weekly volunteers have a designated route with the same stops each week. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage ! Neighbors Helping Neighbors! Now more than ever community support is so important and impactful! Friendly Shopper in Pawcatuck. CT Become a grocery shopper for an older adult or disabled individual who is homebound and living independently. Volunteers may receive the list from the individual and go to the store to fill the order or they may sit with the individual helping them to complete an online order. RSVP needs shoppers who can commit to 2 or 4 times monthly or shoppers who can fill in for other shoppers who are sick or away on vacation. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage !
