Ride Above Disability Therapeutic Riding Center

I know I don't say it often, and maybe have never said it at all, but RAD works magic. Over the years I've volunteered, I've been fortunate to become a small part of this life-changing facility. I've seen students grow in talent and confidence and have witnessed how an emphasis on abilities, opposed to physical limits, redefines what's possible. Everyone here- students, instructors, and volunteers alike, are all committed to building each other up and bringing out the best in others. I grumble weekly that getting up early on Saturday mornings isn't my idea of fun, but the weeks RAD's closed for holidays always leave me feeling like something's missing. What could be a better way to spend the weekend than being outdoors, with animals and awesome people, making a difference in someone's life? I'm beyond thankful and extraordinarily glad to have found a place as positive and welcoming as our little piece of paradise. Thank you, RAD, for all you do!
