Women in Community Services, Inc.(WICS) reduces the number of women and youth living in poverty by promotingg self-reliance and economic independence.

Description

WICS serves low-income women, families, and youth who are in transition: women moving from incarceration back to the community, welfare to work, or from public housing to revitalized housing; women who have overcome chemical dependence or homelessness; and young people, facing a multitude of issues while making the transition to successful employment and an independent life. In partnership with US Department of Labor Job Corps Program, WICS provides services for Job Corps youth including recruitment; mentoring; job placement; support services and independent living and employability skills.
