Volunteered by planting marshes in Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday, June 11th, with Save the Sound. I met some really nice people. Also, I learned the benefits of how planting marshes has a huge effect on every living organism in the park and increases biodiversity. Would definitely recommend this organization to a friend!

I took part in a beach cleanup. When you volunteer with Save The Sound you are that one person who makes the difference in protecting and improving our environment . You also meet and work with many people for a few hours, and during that time you learn and share ideas on how important it is in protecting our water, air, and land. This is a very rewarding experience and you have to give it a try.
