Mission Statement

The #Justice4JaneDoe Initiative of the Center of Public Safety for Women (CPSW) mission is to help "Support, Defend and Protect" the Safety and Rights of All Students! We all either know someone or are that person who can identify with Jane Doe (or John Doe) where we have been wronged by another person or entity such as a College, Business, or even the Government... it isn't right to be treated like a 2nd Class Citizen; in fact, it's CRIMINAL!! *See More "JUICE" at: Change.org/Justice4JaneDoe

Description

Our current focus is our "Spotlight Story" of Jane Doe, a PhD student who received a Prestigious DoD Contract in the form of a Government Grant that is a full ride that paid for ALL of her tuition, fees and also covered lap tops, conferences & travel as well as providing a generous stipend, etc...

What was Once a Dream Come True for Jane Doe, unfortunately, turns into an "ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE" due to several Breaches of Contract that stemmed from Discrimination, Code of Conduct & Ethic Violations and Overall Failures from "Systemic" Issues from Higher Education and Government Agencies (namely the NSA and DoD OIG).

We humbly call on "You to Become the Judge & Jury" since the NSA and the DoD OIG have failed their roles and responsibilities to protect the U.S. Taxpayer’s Dollars that we entrust these "Public Servants" to uphold by following their Procedures, Policies & Core Values that are published on their respective websites...

This organization takes a unique approach to providing girls and young women with the tools and skills they need to improve their self confidence and their ability to recognize the important role in making a change. Anyone who is interested in helping girls reach their full potential should definitely consider volunteering with eGirl Power!

eGirl Power has been an amazing organization to work with and support. Their mission is so important, especially in today's political climate. I'm so excited to continue supporting their work and publications that feature strong female role models. Besides believing in their mission, they have also been a dream to work with; responding quickly, and always taking my skills and availability into consideration. As an educator currently staying home with two small children, this has been the perfect opportunity for me. I'm able to fit the work around my schedule, stay involved in a field I am passionate about and help an organization that is doing so much important work around gender issues.

Absolutely. The mission of the organization is critical in today's world when we [females] are still struggling for gender equality globally. Amy and Karen are very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. They aim to empower women by focusing on the younger ones. As an educator myself I could not find before another organization that matches my causes, and my experience as an educator like this organization does.

As a young college-bound woman, I am very firm on my beliefs of gender equality, or as we eGirl members say, "leveling the playing field." Even in our modern society today, women of all ages and backgrounds face discrimination, stereotypes, and discouragement in the goals they want to achieve: whether it'd be academically, financially, or sexually. I was actually lucky enough to be given the opportunity to be a friend raiser, or a social media ambassador, for this valuable organization. Ms. Amy Mintz, the founder of this organization, and my coordinator Karen O'Brien, are such amazing and professional women who not only helped me secure my important position on this team, but also inspire me to be ambitious and adherent too. eGirl Power seeks to empower young women, and I can gladly say that it has helped to empower myself as well.

egirlpower has been a pleasure to work with. I had a group of 50 and needed a 1-hr outreach activity on short notice. I was contacted the same day with an easy and impactful outreach idea. I really appreciate how well this organization communicates and how invested and appreciative they are of their volunteers. I plan on volunteering with them lots more in the future.

eGirl Power is an amazing and very important organization. There are numerous different volunteer opportunities here - some that can be done on your own time at home. I'm very happy to help eGirl Power in any way I can!

Working with the team at eGirl Power was a breeze and very enjoyable. I was treated like I was part of the team, and I would definitely help them with this cause again or with any other cause.

The people are amazing and the organization stands for encouraging youth to make a difference in their community. I love it. I had a blast volunteering and I will do it again. The organization was friendly and they still check in on me months after the event. I've made some really good connections. Glad I was part of their Pay it Forward Event.

They are very friendly and helpful. They not only allowed me to get volunteer hours but hone my skills and improve in ways I couldn't on my own. If anyone loves art and wants to use it for a good cause then this is definitely the place for you.

Volunteering for this organization has been an absolutely amazing experience. They are easy to work with, very pleasant, and I feel like my time is being put to use. I volunteer as a graphic designer, so it is amazing to be able to gain experience, volunteer from home, AND make a difference. Hiring designers is expensive, so I'm glad that I can provide a free service to this amazing organization. I hope they like my designs because they really deserve it. Great organization to volunteer for.

The organization has a laudable intent - to help the student community; and they exhibit commitment and dedication in achieving this.

Working as a volunteer for the SBAA has a largely wonderful experience. I had great fun designing and illustrating, and the freedom I was given to interpret the character descriptions allowed me express my creativity. Karen (the volunteer coordinator) was such a great person to work with. She is friendly and easy to communicate with, and she has helped and guided me throughout my volunteering experience.

It is a very nice organization with a great mission. There are multiple opportunities to volunteer - utilizing different skills. My remote position allowed me the flexibility to work on projects at my own pace.

I have enjoyed the curriculum work and have found the organization to be specific and responsive.

It has been a great opportunity to strengthen my skills as Illustrator, giving me the chance to develop my very own style. I was given the opportunity to put on hold one of my assigned projects for few months due to personal reasons. They totally understood my situation and put no pressure on me in order to finish my work. Recently, I moved to Europe and can continue volunteering from abroad. I had no problem communicating with the Student Body of America via their Volunteer Coordinator who has been very kind providing resources and answering questions.

Student Body of America was a great volunteer experience, and it not only helped create a positive change in the world, but also allowed me to showcase my own talents and abilities as well as hone in on essential skills such as graphic design. It was a pleasure to work with their friendly and supportive staff, and I would highly recommend this experience for anyone interested.

I enjoyed working with the Student Body of America Association. I feel good about helping with their mission. The projects were fun to work on, too.

Student Body of America Association is an organization with a great cause and everyone in the organization seems to be very passionate about what they're doing. Karen, the volunteer coordinator, is very friendly, patient, and encouraging, and ever since I started volunteer for this organization last July as graphic designer, my experiences were very pleasant. In volunteering with SBAA, I recognized my value as an individual, and it's my honor to work with such a great organization.

I am happy doing work as volunteer. Karen is simply awesome to work with. Its stress free and I really enjoy it. I would love to continue giving my contribution as and when needed. Every time I deliver the project Karen appreciate my effort and it really feels good. Thank you all. I'd highly recommend it to all the people I know.

They were great people to work with and very easy to telecommute. I'd highly recommend it.
by Ian L. (2014-07-08 05:14:25.0)
I really like that I was able to make a positive impact with a skill and talent that I have, instead of just feeling like I have to give money to help someone. Karen is really good to work with and I was honored to even speak to the founder of the nonprofit organization. She thanked me for my completed project and it really meant a lot to me to feel appreciated! Thanks so much! :)

I am a very strong believer in Paying It Forward and Amy, Alexander, Karen and Project Pay It Forward Team make you feel apart of their movement and family from the time you begin volunteering with them. Student Body of America Association has started something really special that has and will continue to make a positive impact! I am so excited about the next volunteering opportunity and chance to Pay It Forward to make the world a better place! Thank you for the wonderful experience and my opportunity to help others! -Victoria
