We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with delivering a warm and welcoming breakfast to our clients! Open Shifts: 7:30am-8:45am Pick any shift Monday through Friday. Location: 770 Centre Street, Newton, MA What you'll do: Help clients get their breakfast from our chef and find their seat in the dining area. Engage with clients, share smiles, and create a friendly atmosphere. Help clients if they need additional meal items (ex. utensils, condiments etc.) Why Volunteer With Us? Description
Established in 1936, The Carroll Center has pioneered many innovative services for the blind and visually impaired. We have developed many methods for people with low vision to learn the skills to be independent in their homes, in class settings, and in their work places. Our services for the blind include vision rehabilitation services, vocational and transition programs, assistive technology training, educational support and recreation opportunities for individuals who are visually impaired of all ages. For over 70 years, The Carroll Center staff has provided help for the blind for thousands of blind and vision impaired persons with diverse opportunities for success and independent living.
