First Call Hospice offers support and comfort to people who are living with a terminal illness. Hospice care is a coordinated effort provided to the patient and the family by a professioanl team of doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy and volunteers.
Description
First Call Hospice volunteers are trained to provide companionship to patients and respite to families. Training is provided at no charge to the prospective volunteer.

First Call Hospice provides free training and support to all of their volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator is very helpful and knowledgeable. Their network of volunteers is large and beneficial to personal and professional growth. Anyone interested in hospice work would find First Call a great place to start.
