The Children's Theatre of Charlotte

My young teen and I both volunteered with Children's Theatre of Charlotte as usher and greeter. Fantastic experience! The director was kind, clear and provided a helpful orientation prior to showtime. I wish I had realized the venue is closed until 1pm. We work on Lombardi time in my household so we arrived extremely early. Thankfully the food court across the street is open on Sundays and we had a very pleasant time exploring while we kept warm and waited. This is a great way to volunteer and support the arts. If you need to be constantly busy, you might choose something else. There's a lot of activity and then it slows way down, but gives the opportunity to watch the play. We enjoyed it and will definitely volunteer here again.

Good afternoon, I have been wanting to volunteer for a while now but I never got the proper information to begin. That was when I began reaching out to my friends and family and asking if they’d known of any organizations and a friend introduced to me to this organization.
