Mission Statement

"Breaking the Cycle of Poverty through the Compassion of Jesus Christ"

Description

WE provide over 65,000 meals a year through a hot meal program and through groceries provided to families. Our goal is to build relationships in the community we serve, to build people up, to provide opportunities to build skills and achieve dreams.

We do this through community meals, providing a free clothing store and food pantry yet also through our hiring practices, a Garden Project, free preschool and youth art programs.

WE are Faith Based with our roots in the United Methodist Tradition. Our meals are provided by individuals, families, faith groups and businesses. Each meal is a special offering to our neighbors that are hungry for food and for good conversation.

Volunteers provide over 11,000 hours of service each year helping us meet the need.
