Position Summary The Chapter Support Liaison (CSL) plays a key role in supporting the health and sustainability of Together Women Rise chapters. CSLs serve as the main point of contact for Chapter Leaders and are responsible for building positive relationships with their assigned chapters. The CSL interacts regularly with their assigned chapters and other CSLs, and reports directly to the Volunteer Manager. Essential Responsibilities Conduct regular check-ins with assigned 10-15 chapters to answer questions, share best practices for chapter management, monitor chapter health, assist with chapter challenges, and communicate Home Office information and updates.

The Ambassador helps to increase awareness of Together Women Rise with new audiences for the purposes of member and chapter growth. The Ambassador will lead or participate in promotional activities that align with Rise’s national communications and marketing plan. The Ambassador will work closely with and report directly to Rise’s Communications & Membership Director and may work with other volunteers as appropriate. Rise will recruit different types of Ambassadors according to the organization’s needs and the volunteer’s skills/expertise and experience. (For example, we may recruit a Social Media Ambassador that focuses specifically on magnifying Rise’s social media presence.) An Ambassador may fulfill some, but not all, of these duties. * Researching and identifying potential tactics, strategies, and opportunities to increase awareness and grow the organization in specific geographic or demographic areas, or affinity groups. * Seeking out, scheduling, coordinating, and/or conducting public speaking presentations * Providing a Together Women Rise presence (i.e. information display) at local or regional events. * Planning and implementing events for the primary purpose of increasing awareness and growth. * Magnifying Rise’s social media presence by posting, sharing, and commenting * Executing events/activities assigned by the Communications & Membership staff. * Participating in proactive news media outreach to secure earned media coverage on behalf of the organization. * Learning and adhering to Rise brand guidelines to ensure consistency in branding and messaging. * Attending training on Together Women Rise policies and procedures, and occasional follow-up trainings. * Attending virtual meetings and collaboration sessions on a periodic basis. * Working with other Ambassadors to execute larger promotional initiatives on behalf of Rise. * Representing Rise in a professional and inclusive manner that is consistent with our mission and values

Position Summary: The Engagement Coordinator responds to inquiries from individuals interested in becoming involved with Together Women Rise. As a first point of contact between Together Women Rise and potential new members, donors, and volunteers, this position is responsible for creating a positive first impression of the organization by responding quickly and enthusiastically to all inquiries. The Engagement Coordinator will work mostly independently, with support and direction from the Volunteer Manager. Essential Responsibilities: Promote and communicate Together Women Rise’s mission and engagement opportunities by answering emails and phone calls for the purpose of recruiting new members, donors, and volunteers.

You can gather in homes, workplaces, college dining halls, places of worship, or on Zoom. You decide how and where you want to come together and how big or small your chapter becomes. As a volunteer at Together Women Rise, you will know that you are helping to change the world for women and girls. And right now, this work is more important than ever. Due to the global pandemic, millions of girls are out of school and may never return. An estimated 47 million women and girls will be pushed into extreme poverty and there have been shocking increases in teen pregnancy, child marriage, and gender-based violence. Every woman deserves the fundamental human right to live freely and pursue her dreams. We believe that gender equality is achievable, and that determined women together in community can achieve anything.
