Hospice Special Projects Volunteer

Special projects volunteers help organize and work on events and projects with specific completion dates. Projects may include organizing teens and other groups for spring and fall yard clean up for hospice families and putting up holiday lights and ornaments for hospice families. Volunteers are also needed to help organize remembrance celebrations held each year for bereaved families and hospice care staff. Volunteers can sign up for a single project or be on hand for several projects throughout the year.

In rural communities, there may be times when volunteers will have no assigned patients, but may be requested to be on call as needed as it fits into the volunteer's schedule.
