Mission Statement

The Gallatin Watershed Council guides collaborative watershed stewardship in the Gallatin Valley for a healthy and productive landscape. We support the sustainability and health of the Lower Gallatin Watershed through collaborative partnerships, community education, restoration efforts, and individual empowerment. Please visit our website to learn about our watershed, current projects, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, and more.

Description

Volunteers play a crucial role in helping the Gallatin Watershed Council to achieve its mission. Every year, hundreds of community members generously donate their time stewarding the Lower Gallatin Watershed. Volunteer season is April-October and includes one-time and season-long opportunities. Whatever your talents or interests, whether you have a little or a lot of time to spare, we welcome you to join us in our rivers and streams, along our trails, and in the mud.
