The Artcraft Theatre provides quality entertainment for the community, while preserving the historic structure for generations to enjoy.
The Artcraft Theatre was built in 1922 as a silent movie and vaudeville house. It was purchased by the non-profit preservation group, Franklin Heritage, Inc. in 2004. Since that time, FHI has run the theatre soley on volunteer power. All profits from ticket sales and concessions go straight back into the restoration of the theatre. The theatre shows classic movies (on 35 mm film whenever possible), at least twice a week and has other events and rentals as well.
