Mission Statement

To promote, further and enhance all cat life. Ten Lives CLub cat rescue and adoption group leases a 2000 square foot shelter which houses some 75+ cats and kittens until adoption. We desperately need volunteers to help with cleaning rooms & caring for the cats & kittens at our shelter on a daily basis. We have satellite adoption locations throughout the Buffalo area & suburbs that are always in need of volunteers to cover various shifts at those store locations. Transporters are also needed to and from the shelter to the Northtowns stores we work with to show our cats. Throughout the year, we hold a number of fundraising & adoption events that we need additional volunteers to help staff. Please call us at 716-646-5577 ext 10 if you can help.

Description

Ten Lives Club is a non-profit cat rescue and adoption organization. We take in stray and abandoned cats and keep them in our program until we can place them in forever homes. We believe the answer to pet overpopulation is spaying and neutering all personal pets and promote this heavily throughout the community.

10 Lives began as a small shelter in the garage of the founder, Marie Edwards. Over the years she has built it into a thriving organization with innumerable totally committed volunteers and a multitude of creative fund-raising activities, all to benefit the felines of the over-populated cat and kitten world. In addition to the main shelter---no longer in her garage---there is Tabby Town in the McKinley Mall, as well as foster homes. I have 4 cats, 3 of which came from a 10 Lives foster home. It's an example of what a charitable organization should be like.
