Littleton Care and Rehabilitation Center

I volunteered at Littleton Care and Rehabilitation for several months and I truly enjoyed every single day there. At Littleton Care and Rehabilitation the atmosphere is warm and friendly, so that every one who walks in the door feels welcome. Volunteering at Littleton Care and Rehabilitation is not about hard work, it is about bringing smiles on the residents' faces. It is about giving your time to make someone happy. I will advice every one who wants to volunteer their time to volunteer at Littleton Care and Rehabilitation. It is an amazing place with wonderful people, and it was my pleasure to volunteer at Littleton Care and Rehabilitation.

My daughter and I have volunteered at Littleton Care through 2013 and some of 2014. Unfortunately due to our own schedule conflicts, we have not volunteered consistently, lately. My daughter and I always look forward to spending time with her 'Colorado grandparents' as she calls many of the residents. We have played Bingo, made various crafts, such as snowflakes to decorate rooms and the dining hall, and necklaces with the residents. Kristina Moritz the volunteer director has been a pleasure to work with. On the days we do crafts, she has already pre-planned the activity and supplies for us. Over Easter, we were invited to participate in a Easter egg hunt at the center with the residents. It is a very special memory for my daughter. The staff is also very helpful and kind. If you are looking for a place to volunteer, I highly recommend Littleton Care and Rehabilitation Center.

My sister and I have volunteered here at the Littleton Care and Rehabilitation Center and we loved it. It was a great experience. We enjoyed coming every time because of how well the the place was kept and the nurses and dietary aides were very helpful. We volunteered in the dining room and the patients there were always nice to us. If you're looking for a place to volunteer, I highly recommend the Littleton Care and Rehabilitation Center.

I volunteered at Littleton Care and Rehabilitation as a Clothing Specialist from June to December 2013, and had an amazing experience interacting with all of the residents and staff. Littleton Care and Rehab is one of the most well-kept, and friendly facilities I’ve come in contact with, you can tell a lot of thought and hard work goes into how clean and organized the main center is, as well as residents’ rooms. While I was volunteering there I was under the supervision of Littleton’s volunteer coordinator, Kristina Moritz. Mrs. Moritz was a pleasure to work with, as well as all of the staff I came in contact with; everyone I asked for help was eager to answer questions and was very accommodating. As a volunteer you can run into unfortunate predicaments such as unclean or cramped work spaces, unhelpful people, and occasionally a feeling of general displeasure at having to volunteer. Littleton Care and Rehab is an exception to this! I can whole-heartedly recommend volunteering here.
