Mission Statement

Asian American Youth Center (AAYC) is a not for profit 501(3) organization dedicated to establishing or building a Youth Center in the NY Chinatown area. We are dedicated to building leadership in the Asian American community by encouraging youth activity through educational and recreational projects and enriching their experiences as community members.

Description

Asian American Youth Center (AAYC) is a 501C3 organization established in 1998. Because of the lack of Youth facilities in the NY Chinatown area, AAYC has dedicated ourselves to establishing a Youth/Community Center. We are presently staffed by volunteers, we do not have any paid staff. We draw upon friends, concerned individuals, organizations and businesses to support our efforts and volunteer their time at our events. It is our hope that many of you will share this vision and will join us as we focus on establishing youth facilities and activities in our community.
