Melissa and Patricia Wyatt know how to bring people together who are underprivileged and want to pursue a formal education. We serve those who have fallen on hard times because of either faults of their own or when they are a victim of circumstances, thus we, the volunteers, patrons, children, community and organizers are all given a second chance in reforming schools and libraries. Most importantly, we learn to love one another unconditionally and celebrate life together.

Perfect place to volunteer. The people are extremely dedicated and passionate about advancing disadvantaged youth. Very positive and engaged management that do so much valuable work for the youth in Los Angeles. There are plenty of opportunities to teach, fundraise, and develop programs. Not a good place to intern because there is no training involved. Internships are positions with an emphasis on on-the-job training rather than merely employment. But, If you just want to jump in and help out the community it is perfect! I would definitely recommend to someone looking to strictly volunteer.
