This was so much fun volunteering for Full Life Care! It was great getting to know the participants and the staff at the Kent facility. It's a special place where all can feel welcome.

A position opening posted here on 1/27/2021, just 3 days later, on 1/30, shows NO POSITIONS AVAILBLE. This is very odd.

It’s sad to observe the staff in the room I volunteer to, read the news paper, talk about how hungry they are, what they’ll do for the weekend while not interacting with the clients. Also you hear stop, quit, shush, quit cursing......
You don’t hear positive reinforcement with the clients/patients. I try to reinforce positive role model in and they don’t get it I’ve only been there two weeks. I do not want this to be shared with my name in it because I am planning to volunteer, at least my three months. But I feel supervisors need to keep a little bit more eyes and ears open with the staff.
