Patient Support - Short Procedure Unit

Volunteers are wanted as supportive members of the Surgical Short Procedure team to assist the staff in a variety of non-clinical tasks to include delivery and pick-up of supplies from other departments, stocking supplies, helping families, etc. A willingness to help, being compassionate, and having flexibiltiy will ensure a rewarding volunteer exerience within a dynamic department.

Emergency Room Volunteer

Calm and compassionate volunteers provide support to the Emergency Room staff in a variety of non-clinical tasks. Some tasks include delivery and pick-up of supplies from other departments, stocking supplies, assisting patients in wheelchairs, assisting staff, visiting in the waiting room, etc. A willingness to help and be flexble will ensure a rewarding volunteer experience. People with their certifed pet therapy animals visit patients, visitors, and staff to spread a dose of joy to those they visit. Golf Cart Hospital Shuttle Service

Grand View Health Auxiliary

The Auxiliary members are the community representatives of GVH and coordiante various fundraising events to support the hospital. The Pavilion Gift Shop and Recovery Room Thrift Shop are sponsored by the Auxiliary and all proceeds from sales go directly to GVH. Some other Auxiliary sponsored events through the year include Designer Bag Bingo, Golf Outing, Duck Derby, and the Festival of Lights. There are a variety of tasks for Auxilian involvement to bring the events to fruition and your participation is most welcome. As part of their fundraising commitment, Auxiliary annual dues are $20 or a lifetime membership is $100. Complete you membership application today at www.gvh.org/Auxiliary.
