1000 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE. I am very proud to share with anyone who is looking to work with a volunteer team of talented people seeking that very best volunteer opportunity in San Diego! Since 2004, the USS Midway museum has truly been the gold standard to give your spare time to give to others to both guests from all over the world as well as to serve along side team members that you will wish to emulate. Whether you are an armed forces veteran or a seasoned civilian professional, the Midway training and management staff will insure your sucess and satisfaction that you will be well trained and capable to handle any guest encounter or tasks that will be assigned to you, Not sure that the Midway Museum might be right for you? Come aboard anytime as a guest and talk to any of the uniformed volunteers and ask them about their volunteer experience. You may find out that the Midway Museum is THE place to serve....and with pride!

This is something that my fellow junior sailors would be interested in due to their choice of enlisting in the Navy.

I have been a volunteer for 10 years. It's been a wonderful experience. The people I volunteer with are first rate and are there to provide a fun, authentic, and unforgettable guest experience. Meeting guests from all over the U.S. and the world and getting to talk about the Midway is another plus for joining the volunteer corps at the U.S.S.Midway

I absolutely love volunteering onboard the USS Midway. It reminds me why I enlisted.

To teach history to children. And get the opportunity to spend the night on something so legendary.
