Mission Statement

We are a child advocacy center in East Texas. Our mission is to serve child victims of sexual and/or physical abuse, minimizing their trauma through a team approach in a child friendly environment.

Description

With the support of our community, Harold's house enables children to come to one place for safety, protection, and justice instead of going from agency to agency. When children arrive, they are welcomed by caring staff, volunteers, and the investigative professionals. A specially trained forensic interviewer talks with the child to determine the details about the abuse The forensic interview enables the child to only have to tell their story once.
