Blood Drive Crew

Blood Drive Crew volunteers provide assistance to our mobile operations crews at blood drives located throughout the community. Our volunteers greet donors as they arrive and assist them with signing in for the blood drive. Other tasks include keeping the snack canteen stocked, answering general blood donation questions, and assisting the mobile crew with other appropriate tasks. Volunteers may also assist recruitment staff with handing out marketing materials for the blood drive.

Donable Program Ambassador

WHAT IS DONADBLE? Donable is a new app designed by Our Blood Institute to help increase blood donation appointments and outreach. HELPING OTHERS IS ONLY PARTOF THE BENEFIT! A Donable volunteer is an advocate for Donable in their OBI network, intending to connect blood donors with Donable Agentand Donable Cares opportunities. They will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator and Director of Donable Operations to further the mission of OBI through their relationships with OBI donors and supporters.

To be the donor-to-patient lifeline, providing our communities and medical partners security by meeting transfusion and health care needs. Our Blood Institute’s Volunteer Services Department is dedicated to enhancing OBI’s commitment to the communities we serve by finding people who share our compassion for life. The ultimate goal of Volunteer Services is to cultivate the relationships that will provide volunteer support for the life-saving work of Our Blood Institute. Why do volunteers contribute their time to OBI? To help save lives To give back to the community To be an important part of a team For personal growth For education and philanthropy We have volunteer opportunities in a wide range of locations due to our mobile units drawing blood in the Fort Smith surrounding areas.

I feel that if love volunteering with you and I like there will be know problem getting some of my friends to come and work with me side by side. But by me being a people person I know I will love working with you, I just love working with the elderly and the kids.
