Mission Statement
To promote a positive attitudes and offer comprehensive health services to the less privileged, i.e. vulnerable children, youth, women, elderly and people with disabilities to enhance their rights and welfare so that they can wholesomely contribute to economic development of Uganda. Our emphasis is on capacity strengthening through trainings and transfer of practical knowledge and skills to children, women, youth, the elderly and people with disabilities
Description
International Family Support Centre (IFSC) is an indigenous non-government organization registered by guarantee with registration number INDR13624485NB from National Bureau of Non-Government Organization of Uganda. The organization was formed by a group of volunteers arising out of the continuous crisis that has been caused by HIV/AIDS and poverty in the rural communities in Uganda.
IFSC development programs focus mainly on policy advocacy and service delivery addressing gender inequality; women and children’s rights; food security and Livelihoods; Orphan and other vulnerable children care and support; HIV/AIDS Prevention, care, support and impact mitigation and other social, economic and cultural inequalities and injustices in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Goal: To develop innovative development approaches that shall address the unemployment, health and development needs of the vulnerable Ugandan society.
VISION: A healthy and developmental society that has regards to its surrounding environment.
