To establish global recognition and understanding of pelvic organ prolapse; to assist women in any stage/type of POP with support, compassion, and guidance; and to encourage like support and health assistance for women within both developing and developed regions of the world.

APOPS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded September 2010 in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. The mission of APOPS is to encourage recognition of pelvic organ prolapse in all its forms and stages and to advance understanding of this health condition and the treatments utilized for it. POP is a women's health disorder that has been shrouded in silence and mistaken for other health concerns for thousands of years; breaking the code of silence is pivotal for the advancement of POP recognition and treatment.
