Mission Statement

Our mission is to help the frail, elderly and disabled to maintain their independence and dignity through the spirit of volunteerism.

Description

The CareGivers, Inc. has a history of caring that has spanned 25 years. We are a small, private, grassroots non-profit organization.

We recruit, screen, train and coordinate volunteers to offer presence and assistance to those in need through transportation, companionship, community workshops, a mobile food pantry and service projects. Our programs and services, all free of charge, help vulnerable individuals remain independent in their homes and connected to their communities.

I hate to talk down or leave this type of review for anyone or an organization like this, but I have tried to contact this organization on at least two different occasions requesting some information about volunteering, it's been over a week, and no one has ever responded back. It's time for me to move on to another organization that I can help with!

Its a great organization with amazing people. My only complaint is that they are not very quick with communication. But I assume that they are just really busy.
