Cultural Unity is dedicated to providing education, recreational and cultural prrams to the inmigrant community of the greater New Brunswick area, NJ.
Description
We offer English as a Second language classes, GED review classes, basic computer applications programs, dance and art workshops. We also sponsor and organize community conferences or workshops on inmigrant related issues. We sponsor annual cultural celebrations featuring folkloric music and food from various countries. There is suggested donation of $20 or less based on income, per semester (12 weeks). No one is turned away if they cannot donate money. There are 3 semesters per year. Our program participants are young adults and adults in the community.
