RMHC of the Bluegrass(r) provides housing for families of ill or injured children in a communal living setting. It is critical to maintain a safe and sanitary environment in order to protect the health of Families, Employees, Volunteers, Visitors or Others to help flatten the community spread of COVID-19 in Fayette County and beyond. All volunteers at RMHC must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and must also receive a flu shot during flu season. In addition, masks must be worn on RMHC property. When are "chores" not "chores?" When they are done for people who truly appreciate it and when you do them for a cause you can believe in! The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass exists to create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and to strengthen families by keeping them together in times of medical need. Volunteers are essential to the operation of our Ronald McDonald House. Our House has 21 rooms to maintain and keep clean on a rotating basis. Our most urgent need is for folks who will take pride in a spotless room that's ready for a family whose child is in a medical crisis. Do you have four hours to give each week once or twice a month for 3 months? We need you! For more information about volunteering or to help with monetary or "wish list" donations, e-mail Jillian Pyatte (jpyatte@rmhclexington.com).

Meal groups are currently limited to a max of 4 volunteers. We need groups that would like to come a cook dinner for our families. This is the perfect opportunity for your business, organization or church group to spend a couple of hours giving our families a warm meal. The group brings the ingredients and prepares the dinner for our families. Our meals are served at 7pm and are buffet style. It is a wonderful opportunity to interact with our families. Groups are also welcome to purchase a catered meal and drop it off or have it delivered!
