Gather your group and spread a little holiday cheer by decorating one of our residential homes in Waconia. Our homes provide a range of programming and services that ensure our residents are able to create and remain an integral part of their community. You’ll create a Winter Wonderland and bring joy to our clients with lights and decorations! Gather a group and get ready to wrap doors, hang snowflakes, and hang festive lights. Help make our clients’ houses feel like home during this holiday season. This is the perfect team building activity for corporate groups!

MORA would love for our participants to experience all the benefits of singing by having a choir leader who would be interested in coming to lead our participants in a regular choir hour. Enjoy the beautiful Fall season with an outdoor yard clean-up at one of our residential homes across the west metro. The individuals we serve take pride in their home and are proud to be a part of the community. Grab your rakes and gloves and perform general maintenance such as pulling weeds, trimming shrubs, and cleaning up brush. Help to give all our homes an immediate feeling of warmth and welcoming. This could be an on-going opportunity or a one-time event. A fun outdoor individual or teambuilding activity!

MORA would love for our participants to experience all the benefits of dance by having a teacher or group of dancers who would be interested in coming to lead our participants in a regular dance hour. Come spend time chatting, meeting new people, and creating a fun time of community! You lead the music and style of dance. No previous experience necessary. Staff will always be available to help. Mount Olivet Day Services (MODS) is an adult day program offering respite care to seniors where everyone can socialize and enjoy planned activities in a safe group setting. This provides family caregivers a much-needed break, enabling loved ones to be cared for at home for a longer period of time. Create a "Winter Wonderland": Volunteer with us and come create a beautiful "Winter Wonderland" at our day services center for our seniors to enjoy! The holidays are always a special time of year, and we would love for our seniors to be surrounded by the joy of the season! Come hang lights, wrap doors, or hang snowflakes! Some decorations can be provided but we would greatly appreciate any lightly used or new decorative donations too! This is the perfect group opportunity for anyone from corporate groups, book clubs, to student groups. This is available Mon-Fri during the day. Located in S.Mpls. Staff always available to assist. Free parking available on-site.
