The Floyd County Animal Rescue League has been working to protect the animals of Floyd County since it was established 25 years ago. The Rescue League has helped thousands of people afford to have their animals altered, provided educational programs and materials to area schools, volunteered tens of thousands of hours at the shelter and special events, and directly assisted hundreds of animals in need. FCARL has also raised and contributed over $400,000 toward the construction of the new animal shelter building, and worked with City and County governments to plan and implement that project.

All of the members truly care about the animals (babies). The money raise go for the animals and programs for the animals. Each person involved loves the anmials and that's why they are there, it's because they truly care and want to help these babies. It's a wonderful feeling the love you get back from the babies.
