It gives me pleasure to volunteer and help others.

How disappointing that they don't welcome non-Christians to volunteer. What must their priorities be if they have such rules in place? Surely helping the elderly is not high on their list.

I really wish they would accept people of all religions into the program. I am very interesting in helping these people but I cannot contribute considering I'm Agnostic, despite having respect for all religions. I hope someday in the future they will accept people of all religions. :)

The Word of God commands it, clearly, over and over again: John 13:34-35 [Full Chapter] A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 15:12 [ Disciples’ Relation to Each Other ] “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. John 15:17 This I command you, that you love one another. Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;

I find it very unfortunate that this group will only accept Christians as volunteers. Some of us non-Christians are capable of helping out the elderly and disabled. This divisive stance is certainly not what their God had intended, is it?

Love INC is a great organization that provides a wide range of volunteer opportunities for Christians. There is something for everyone to do without having to access multiple organizations; there are even opportunities if you only have 15 minutes a week to call and check in on an elderly or disabled individual to see how they are doing. Believe me, the more you give, the more you will receive. My husband and I have provided assessments for and done work in the handyman program, have provided directed assistance to two individuals, and I've been actively involved in the Loving Help program as an instructor in the budgeting program. We may not be able to change the world but we can make a difference one day at a time one person at a time. We have grown in our walk with Christ and met so many wonderful people through this organization.

I work at Love INC, so I can tell you from an inside perspective, that the need truly is great. We start each day off in prayer that God will bless us with many volunteers to fill the needs that we see all around us. We consider each of our clients a Divinely ordained opportunity to show Christ's love, and we work hard to match each volunteer with the client that he or she can serve best. We receive a wide variety of requests for help, so if you are able to do something that you don't see listed as a need--call us! The odds are good that we can find someone that needs your help.

Easy way to help out and feel good about volunteering in a Christian environment. LOVE Inc. provides various assignments to choose from and materials if needed. Excellent communication about client needs, contact info. and directions to the assignment. They work with you to make sure the assignment is suitable and they are there for you every step of the way, offering support and answering questions.

This organization takes the "Great Commission" seriously. They are fiscally sound and do extensive background checks on the folks they help to make sure that what we do is done for those truly in need. I always walk away feeling like the one who has been given a gift.
