"Worshiping Christ, Transforming Lives, Building Community"
Description
New Harvest Church grew out of the vision of our Founding Pastor Mitch Ribera. He was uprooted from his comfortable staff position at Northwest Church in Fresno and was, with the blessing of Pastor Bufe Karraker, called to launch a new church in Clovis.
Sponsored by the Baptist General Conference (recently renamed Converge Worldwide) in Sept. of 2000, Pastor Mitch participated in "church planter" training in Wyoming, and officially established the core group of volunteers on January 1, 2001. Since
launching the first public worship Sunday service on Palm Sunday of that year, Pastor Mitch’s life mission continues to be "to lead and shepherd my family and
God's family in becoming healthy, Christ-centered teams." The Church’s passion remains the cultivation of healthy families. Of utmost importance to our entire leadership team, volunteers and professionals alike, we get to share our lives and build the church with an extraordinary group of individuals who have experienced the fullness of God's unwavering grace!
