Environmental Coalition of South Seattle

Environmental Coalition of South Seattle (ECOSS) is a non-profit organization working with Puget Sound businesses, neighborhoods and individuals for an environmentally responsible community. ECOSS provides environmentally oriented education, technical resources and other services. ECOSS serves as a voice for the community on issues that encourage a clean environment and urban redevelopment. Through education and outreach, ECOSS helps businesses and individual residents (many of whom are non-native English speakers) prevent pollution, conserve energy, manage hazardous materials and clean up contaminated properties. ECOSS also works closely with the South Park community on a wide range of projects and issues such as pollution and crime prevention, public art and greeen spaces, and a library and other community facilities.
