Mission Statement

Poodle and Pooch Rescue is a nonprofit organization that rescues dogs that TRULY need help. We have many older, special needs dogs because these are the dogs that need us. Other rescue groups scoop up the young, highly adoptable dogs from animal control. We rescue the "leftovers" -- the ones they don't want because the dog is older or isn't perfect due to a medical condition. These are the dogs we save, so their "last" day becomes the first day of their new life. We provide the veterinary care they need and a foster family they love. When they're ready, we match them with a special family who cherishes them.

You can help by adopting, fostering or donating so we can save even more dogs. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the adoption application and we'll call you to help find the right match for your family. If you would like to foster, please call or email us so we can answer your questions. Our foster moms and dads are our heroes! If you would like to donate, please click on any of the paypal buttons on our website. With every donation you'll receive photos and email updates of the dog(s) you helped, including a photo of your dog with his new family when he's adopted!
