Description
The Basic and Transitional Studies Division Tutoring Program at Seattle Central College exists to support and empower ESL, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED students by providing one-on-one tutors to assist these students as they pursue their goals. Our program serves a diverse group of students who speak many different languages and come from many different parts of the world. Our students also come from a variety of educational backgrounds. For some of our students, this may be their first time in a classroom or their first time learning to read or write while others may be returning to school to complete their GED, prepare for college classes or learn English.
