Greet and serve refreshments to volunteer blood donors after the donation process. Friendly, courteous, dependable volunteers with great customer service skills are needed to help monitor the donor lounge. Friendly interactions with blood donors and staff. Some standing and mobility required. Nursing background is helpful in observing volunteer blood donors for possible reactions after the donation process to ensure the donors have a positive experience. Help to make the volunteer blood donors feel appreciated. Visit with donors while social distancing and help keep the refreshment lounge organized, stocked, neat and clean. Volunteer help needed at Vitalant ELK GROVE- varied shifts Volunteers needed 6 days a week. Make an impact on our community by helping us save lives. Vitalant is a nonprofit organization that provides lifesaving and life-sustaining services to millions of people across the nation. Through a network of blood donation centers and mobile blood drives and a passionate volunteer donor base. Together, with our communities, we are the source for a precious and perishable resource.
