Open Bible Medical Clinic & Pharmacy is a Non-Profit Medical Clinic & Pharmacy and our mission is to share the love of Jesus by providing free access to medical care and life saving medications to uninsured low income adults in the Pikes Peak region. We are looking for Volunteers who are available on Tuesdays - 5 pm to 9 pm Thursdays - 10 am to 2 pm Saturdays - 9 am to 1 pm We are in need of Medical Providers, Registered Nurses, Mental Health Counselors, Pharmacist and Pharmacy Techs with active Colorado licenses. We also need help in various support positions such as Spanish Speaking Interpreters, Receptionist/Admin, Security Personnel and Eligibility Specialist as well as strong Christian Believers, Ministers and Lay persons to share the gospel and love of Christ in a life-giving manner!!! You must be 18 or older to volunteer with us and all Volunteers must undergo a BACKGROUND CHECK!!! Open Bible Medical Clinic and Pharmacy is looking for a volunteer Develop Director. This role would be responsible for developing and implement a financial strategy for the ongoing general operation of the Open Bible Medical Clinic and Pharmacy. This role includes: Identifying and applying for Grants as needed. Identifying and soliciting potential business, churches, and individuals to fund the operations of OBMCP. Coordinating special fundraising events, tracking and acknowledging all gifts and donations in a timely manner while maintaining an accurate and complete donor mailing list and files, while regularly communicate with potential and existing funders, volunteers and the community at large.

Must be Certified Pharmacy Technician, Licensed in CO and in accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assists the pharmacist in the performance of other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Pharmacy policies and procedures. Responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful patient experience. Engages patients by greeting them and offering assistance with services. Resolves patient issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience. We are need for pharmacist technicians on the following days of the week. Tuesday: 5pm-9pm (or until last patient medication are completed) Thursday: 10am-2pm Saturday: 9am-1pm

We have around 7 percent of the population in our community that are uninsured. We think we have come up with a great model to serve our community with this need. Our model for serving only requires our volunteers to work one night per month. That’s only 12 times per year! We provide the training and even provide dinner on the night that you serve! We try and create a fun, relaxing, professional environment that provides a meaningful service to our community. Currently, we need volunteer Pharmacists to serve on Tuesday’s from 5:00 pm to 9:30pm and Saturday's from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
