Our mission is to mobilize local community members, grassroots non-profits, and NGOs from diverse sectors and encourage them to work together in order to promote sustainable and responsible reconstruction efforts.

Description

VolNepal was founded in 2000 and registered with the Chief District Administration Office and the Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu in 2005.

VolNepal was created to implement new initiatives and platforms that could better answer the need for communication between volunteers and community groups with NGOs operating both locally and internationally.

VolNepal is an independent organization. In order to maintain our independence we accept funding only from Private individuals donations. This allows us the neutrality to provide for anyone regardless of race, religion, age, gender, caste, creed or political affiliation.

All donations to VolNepal go into one overall fund. This ensures that your donation only goes to those in need. To ensure transparency and a proper allocation of funds, an annual review is carried out by our board of directors and public files are displayed with all the financial reports from all projects.
