Mission Statement

IHDC is a non-profit, interfaith partnership created in 1987 to address the needs of the homeless and the lack of affordable housing in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Description

We create affordable housing by rehabilitating "blighted" homes and sometimes by building new ones. These homes provide the right opportunity for low-income and homeless families to secure permanent housing, via lease, lease-purchase, or direct sale programs. We rely heavily on our volunteers as we work toward our mission. They help keep construction costs low, so that we can pass on the savings.
