Share Your Time with an Older Adult: Be a Friendly Visitor or Shopper

Visit with and/or shop for an older adult who needs a little extra help or just someone to talk to! Be a bright light in someone's day! 1 - 2 hours per week depending on your schedule. Mileage is reimbursed. Can be done after normal work hours! Please give phone number in addition to email.

Deliver a Smile Safely! Be a Meals on Wheels Volunteer!

Regular and substitute drivers needed at all centers! Make a difference in an older adult's life - deliver a meal & a smile once a week during lunchtime, Monday through Friday - a couple of hours a week to help feed your neighbors! Meals go out from Greendale, Coleman, Sanford, and Trailside Centers. Increased need for drivers due to COVID - specific procedures are implemented to keep both volunteers and clients SAFE! ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCES! Mileage is reimbursed. Please give phone number in addition to email.

Are you handy? Make an Older Adult's Home Safe & Secure

Volunteers needed to assist Midland County older adults in keeping their homes in a safe and secure condition by performing jobs for those clients who can no longer manage them. This might include installing grab bars, raised toilet seats, smoke detectors and repairing doors, locks, windows, etc. Volunteers need to provide their own tools and mileage is reimbursed. Like to Drive and Meet People? Be a Senior Services Van Driver!

Using Senior Services' wheel chair accessible vans and four door cars, take older adults to medical appointments within Midland County, Monday-Friday, daylong shifts (with breaks) available. Safety/sanitizing protocol in place. Especially looking for individuals who can handle wheelchairs in an accessible van! Must have valid driver's license. We will take any time you have to give - one shift a week or one a month - whatever you are able to do! Please give a phone number in addition to email.
