Mission Statement
The Alliance for Lung Cancer Advocacy (ALCASE) is the only nonprofit organization dedicated solely to helping people at risk for and living with lung cancer. Lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in the United States. However, progress in early detection, better treatments, and supportive care are helping to increase survival times and ensure a better quality of life. We offer many programs and services to those newly diagnosed with lung cancer and their families and to those who are living with this disease.
Description
support through hotline, literature, newsletter, website, phone buddy program; advocacy through networking with health care providers, legislative liaison, encouraging and empowering individuals to advocate in their communities.
