All About Equine is an established (2009) equine rescue. AAE is a volunteer-based organization and has an ongoing need for volunteers to support equine rescue operations. Volunteers are needed to assist with basic care of horses (feeding, medicating, mucking, cleaning, grooming, hoof care, etc), and facility maintenance, as well as special projects related to care and facilities such as setting up new paddocks, fencing, install electric fencing, cross-fencing, shelter construction, building repairs, garden/yard care, hazard removal (e.g. tree branches, rocks, etc.), mechanical assistance, farriers, vets, transport, hay buying or hauling, and more. We also need organizational/administrative help with fundraising, grant research and writing, volunteer coordinating, adoption activities, outreach, events, and plenty more. AAE is also transitioning to a new property (61 acres) recently improved with basic infrastructure. We have the basics with fencing, cross-fencing, water/power, storage, shelter, and need to build more facilities. If you're interested in volunteering with a horse rescue and don't see a particular skill or area listed, contact us to discuss other opportunities. Hands on horse activities require orientation/safety training. Visit our website for more information: www.allaboutequine.org Email for location. Address listed below is our mailing address, located approx one mile fromcurrent facility location and about 14 miles from new property location.

All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc. (AAE) seeks experienced grant writers to support our equine rescue operations. AAE has a small, volunteer-based grants team. AAE is looking for volunteers to expand AAE's grant writing and research capacity and to mentor less experienced team members. AAE has recently relocated to a new property in Pilot Hill, CA. AAE is interested in expanding its grants team to fund equine rescue operations and programs, as well as new facility improvements. The new property was undeveloped, and we are slowly growing facilities to enhance care and rehab of horses and to reinstate horse-human programs, ultimately, to become a premier community-based rescue, rehab, and education/training facility. AAE has offered equine-based programs/activities for underserved populations including Veterans and at-risk youth, as well as schools, military, corporate teams, and more. Visit our website for more information, www.allaboutequine.org or contact AAE for more info.
