I started out repairing enclosures for the animals back in February, and most recently I've been helping organize the International Food Festival being hosted here on the 9th of August. I've learned many skills, had many new experiences, cuddled many cute animals, and ultimately I feel like I've made beneficial difference within my community. I enjoy every day that I spend here, and I know anyone who cares for animals and the environment will enjoy their time too. Thanks Gary Mitchell for the opportunity you've provided me with, and the second home too!

I have been with Planet Rehab as a volunteer since August of 2013. The experience has proven to be both meaningful and very rewarding. Director Gary Mitchell shows a genuine concern for the environment and all living creatures. His mentoring and educational approach to students is commedable. I have learned a great deal from Gary and found a true friend in the process.

I found a family at Planet Rehab, Gary and the gang has been a big part of my life starting all the way back in March! It has been so much fun and I will continue to come here:) The people here who usually come are creative and artistic, passionate people and also extremely friendly and sociable. It is a great place to make friends, once you get involved it's hard (and not likely) to get away, I'm hooked for life! I found (hopefully) life-long friends/ family here and it's such a great place to be!

Working on animal habitats was very rewarding. The organizers were friendly, laid-back, & very down to earth people to work with.

Because it seems like an organization that everyone should be appart of. Helping animals in need is something i love doing so why not invite friends of mine who love doing the same thing to a program that does just that.
