Description
For more than 60 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As a donor and volunteer supported organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 7 through 14, throughout the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area. We develop positive friendships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people that helps them realize their potential and build their futures. With your help, we nurture children and strengthen communities.

I said maybe because I have never volunteered with this organization before. Therefore, depending on how everything runs it will either be "Very likely" or "Not at all likely"

I have been a Big Sister to my Little Sister for about a year and a half now! I enjoy the time that we spend together whether it be throwing the Frisbee, getting ice cream, making cookies, or playing Mario Cart! We have bonded and look forward to our time together. We recently got free tickets from the agency to attend The Christmas Carol at the Omaha Community Playhouse and we will be getting tickets to a UNL Hockey game as well.
