Mission Statement
The mission of the The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is to educate medical students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows in accordance with the highest professional standards; to prepare clinicians to practice patient-centered medicine of the highest standard; and to identify and answer fundamental questions in the mechanisms, prevention and treatment of disease, in health care delivery and in the basic sciences.
Description
The Behavioral Sleep Medicine Clinic provides adult outpatient services to help patients improve their sleep and live healthier, happier lives. If you or someone you know has trouble sleeping, or if you would like to learn more about our clinic and how we help people, click here.
RESEARCH
We are conducting research to advance the scientific understanding of sleep and sleep disorders, in particular the relationship between insominia and chronic pain. We are currently recruiting participants for several studies related to sleep. EDUCATION
In addition to patient care and research, Johns Hopkins is committed to training the next generation of health care providers. The Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program sponsors a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology and also provides opportunities for interested undergraduate and graduate students to gain valuable research experience.
