Description
Rivercross Healthcare provides services for terminally ill patients all throughout Eastern Oklahoma. We are dedicated to providing services for our patient's mind, body, and soul. We do this by providing a multitude of services from the Interdisciplinary Team that consists of Volunteers. Our Volunteers have a compassionate, caring heart that provides distraction, compassion, and a listening ear for our patients and families as well as our staff.

Because this looks like so much fun , and it would be a great place to volunteer. I am friendly to people and love animals. I think people who loves animals would love this job and help the animals.

I contacted Rivercross Hospice via VolunteerMatch on 3/5/15. When I hadn't heard back from them after several days, I sent them an email on 3/11/15. It's now mid-April and I still haven't heard back from them. (I started volunteering for the Red Cross in late March and am very happy there, so I'm no longer interested in this opportunity for Rivercross Hospice.) [***Review updated 4/13/15: Rivercross Hospice evidently found this "negative" review. (I actually meant it to be neutral, because I don't have enough info to recommend for or against them.) I just got an apologetic message from a Rivercross representative explaining that their email system incorrectly marked several messages as "spam" and eventually deleted them, so they probably never saw my emails. They said they've fixed the problem and do value their volunteers, which I'm glad to hear!]
