Wish of a Lifetime's Mission is to foster respect and appreciation for seniors by granting life-enriching wishes.

Description

Wish of a Lifetime fosters respect and appreciation for deserving seniors by fulfilling their life-enriching Wishes. Founded by two-time Olympic skier, World Cup gold medalist, entrepreneur, and former NFL football player Jeremy Bloom in 2008 in living honor of his grandmother, Wish of a Lifetime encourages the public to take an active role in granting Wishes through its Wish Connect program.

Wish of a Lifetime envisions a world in which society embraces the inherent wisdom that accompanies aging; where seniors are celebrated for their accomplishments and sacrifices; and where intergenerational connections are part of our daily life.

Since 2008, Wish of a Lifetime has made more than 850 wishes come true for seniors in 50 states and the District of Columbia. 93 percent of wish recipients stated they felt their quality of life improved after having their wish granted and 76 percent said they felt their overall health improved after experiencing a Wish. I can't say enough good things about my experience with the Wish of a Lifetime foundation. Their mission is truly unique and directed towards such a lost generation. The Executive Director, Deirdre was wonderful to work with. I helped out at a donor appreciation event at the Mayor's Mansion in Denver with the Young@Heart Choir. I would recommend anyone to help out. Best, Ryan
