Children Across America, a 501c3 non profit located in Milford, MA, has a need for an Fundraising Director. Experience in online fundraising, including email campaigns, SMS outreach, and lead generation. Create and lead fundraising events. We are looking for someone that not only has the knowledge but also is passionate about helping children in low income families. Work closely with our Board of Directors and volunteers to implement opportunities and events. Party planning and event planning very helpful. Commitment would be about 10-15 hours a month. Children Across America provides educational programming(STEM) to America's under served children. The Milford office deals with residents of Milford and the surrounding towns of Blackstone Valley although we will never turn a child away no matter where they live. We also have just opened our Brockton, MA location. We are looking to go from a small nonprofit to a medium sized one. We need to raise more money to make this happen. Virtual Opportunity
Children Across America, a 501c3 children's educational non profit located in Milford and Brockton MA, is looking for experienced grant writers to help us keep our services free to underserved kids. Most of our kids are first generation Americans and minorities who do not have access to the same resources other kids have. We are trying to even the playing field and give these kids the same opportunity at a great education and a successful life. We also have our Girls Love to Code Club which is for young girls 4-9 that want to learn to block code, program and build VEX robotics. These girls increase their reading and math skills 3 fold on average by participating. We are seeking an experienced grant writer who has expertise and previous success gaining funding from grantors. We especially need someone experienced in state and federal grants. Children Across America provides educational programming(STEM and STREAM), preventative healthcare, healthy lifestyles and coding to America's under served children. The Milford office deals with residents of Milford and the surrounding towns of Blackstone Valley although we will never turn a child away no matter where they live. Our newest location is in Brockton and next year we will open Randolph and Canton and eventually Dorchester. At our core, reading comprehension and technology competencies are the focus of our programs. Children Across America is currently seeking a skilled, experienced and energetic Google Adwords project manager to work with our executive team to help advertise our free children's literacy and preventative healthcare programs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping America's children and is experienced with Google Adwords. We have the 10K monthly grant from Google adwords. Children Across America, a humanitarian organization, provides literacy and STEM programs to under-served children in the Metrowest Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut area. Our vision is to empower families and children in low-income communities through education. Our unique programs are focused on improving children’s literacy, drive educational excellence and develop healthy lifestyles. Children Across America main focus is Literacy and STEM programs. We are looking to take advantage of crowdfunding and the internet to raise much needed funds for our 100% volunteer organization. Volunteers allow us to keep our services free to underserved kids. All of our kids are first generation Americans and minorities who do not have access to the same resources other kids have. We are trying to even the playing field and give these kids the same opportunity at a great education and a successful life. We call it Educational Equity. We also have our Girls Love to Code Club which is for young girls 4-9 that want to learn to block code, program and build VEX robotics. These girls increase their reading and math skills 3 fold on average by participating. You will work with the Operations Director and keep a database of all of our current and new volunteers. The job is mostly emailing to all volunteers about volunteer opportunities and coordinating with the team so we know how many volunteers will be at each event or club. Board members lend their business experience and help fundraise to grow the organization. We are looking for people that have a passion for helping kids and who will be actively involved in the organization. Most of our kids are first generation Americans and minorities who do not have access to the same resources other kids may have. We are trying to even the playing field and give these kids the same opportunity at a great education and a successful life as everyone else. We call it Educational Equity. We also have our Girls Love to Code Club, which is for young girls 4-9, to learn to block code, program and build VEX robotics. These girls increase their reading and math skills 3 fold on average by participating. in America, only 4 % of all engineers are women. That's ridiculous. Children Across America provides educational programming(STEM and STREAM), preventative healthcare, healthy lifestyles and coding to America's under served children. We provide educational equity. The Milford office deals with residents of Milford and the surrounding towns of Blackstone Valley although we will never turn a child away no matter where they live. Our newest location is in Bridgewater/Brockton and next year we will open Dorchester, Randolph and Canton. It is almost 100% volunteer organization and all of our services are provided free of charge. Financial requirements: Must sign up to our $19 per month subscription. Must raise at least $5K every year. This can be done by personal donations, running or working on company fundraisers, in kind donations from companies, getting sponsors, attending the toy drive, etc.. This is not hard to do and is easily achievable if you believe in our cause. I got Staples to donate over $50K of school supplies every year just by talking with them.
